How much does a session cost?

Most sessions (individual, child & youth, and parent consultation) are 50 minutes at CA$160. Relationship Counselling for Individuals is 60 minutes at CA$180, Joint Couples Counselling (Two Therapists) is 60 minutes at CA$280, and a Comprehensive Assessment Appointment is 80–90 minutes at CA$350.

Payment is due at the end of each session unless pre-arranged. Receipts are provided for insurance or reimbursement purposes. See all services & fees.

How long is a session?

Sessions are typically 50 minutes unless otherwise arranged. Relationship and joint couples sessions are 60 minutes, and a comprehensive assessment is 80–90 minutes.

Is the first consultation really free?

Yes. The Free Initial Consultation is 15 minutes: a brief phone or video consultation to discuss your goals, answer questions, and determine whether my services are a good fit for your needs. Book a free consultation.

Do you offer in-person and online sessions?

Both. You can meet in-person at the Steveston office (210–3651 Moncton Street) or the Central Richmond office (1027–6081 No. 3 Road), or have remote sessions from wherever you are.

What languages are sessions available in?

English, Russian, Ukrainian (Professional Working Proficiency).

Do you direct bill ICBC?

Yes, ICBC Counselling is offered at the ICBC-approved rate, with direct billing available. Please provide your ICBC claim number before your first appointment so that eligibility for direct billing can be confirmed.

Are reduced rates available?

Reduced-rate counselling is available for full-time post-secondary students with a valid student ID (50 minutes, CA$140). Reduced-fee and non-profit rates have limited spaces available. Please inquire for details.

What is the cancellation policy?

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide 24 hours notice. Late cancellations or missed appointments may be billed at the full session rate.

Is what I share confidential?

Everything you share in counselling is confidential. Information will not be released without your consent except in situations required by law, including:

  • If there is risk of harm to yourself or someone else
  • If a child or vulnerable adult may be at risk
  • If records are subpoenaed by a court
  • If required for professional ethical consultation (with identifying details removed)
